Remote storage that behaves like local disk.
iSCSI targets allow SCSI commands to operate over TCP/IP networks. A server or workstation can use the target as a remote fixed disk while keeping the storage system physically separate from the client machine.
This design is useful for backup, recovery, distributed storage, classroom labs, and operational testing.
